Madison Beach Hotel Welcomes Chef Chrissy Tracey for Garden to Table Epicurean Experience

Exclusive Dinner Event Featuring Bon Appetit’s You Tube Series’ Vegan Chef

Madison, Conn. [April 11, 2022] – On June 2, 2022, Madison Beach Hotel’s Epicurean Series will turn it’s focus to the garden with their first vegan culinary dinner featuring Bon Appetit’s vegan chef Chrissy Tracey.

A self-taught culinarian and forager, Chef Chrissy Tracey will prepare an exclusive vegan dinner beginning with a welcome reception and passed hors d’oeuvres, and concluding with a fabulous dessert.  Each course will be paired with a specially selected wine. The dinner event will begin at 7 p.m. This ticketed and exclusive event has limited seating.

“As our own chefs have created a number of delicious vegan dishes for The Wharf, we thought it time to showcase plant-based dining in our Epicurean Series,” said General Manager John Mathers. “We’re very proud to welcome Chef Chrissy to Madison Beach Hotel.”

In addition to the dinner experience, Chef Chrissy will teach a culinary class on Friday, June 3; participants will leave with new skills that they can use at home.  The class will be held at Madison Beach Hotel and will begin at 11:30 a.m.  This is a ticketed event and may be purchased with the dinner or separately.

COVID Aware: Guests must attest to being vaccinated to attend and participate in this event.

Dinner Experience Pricing: $150 inclusive per person, includes all food and beverage outlined below, gratuity and sales tax.

Culinary Class: $50 per person

Chrissy Tracey is a self-taught freelance vegan chef, artist, forager, YouTuber, and serial entrepreneur in the food and wellness space. She is the first vegan chef to be featured on Bon Appetit’s Test Kitchen YouTube series. Her recipes and work have been featured in Epicurious, Farm Sanctuary Magazine, VegNews, and the Vegan Review. She has also been featured on the Bon Appetit ‘Food People’ podcast, in addition to NPR ‘Seasoned.’ A first- generation Jamaican American, Chrissy is one of seven and learned to cook through family and friends. In 2020, Tracey was a Connecticut Magazine 40 Under 40 recipient for the work that she has done. She made a name for herself while working as a vegan pizza chef in New Haven, known all over the world for its pizza, and currently runs a Connecticut based catering company ‘Chrissys’ that specializes in curating unique plant-based culinary events.
